General MetalWorks Corp. (GenMet), a custom metal fabricator based in Mequon, WI, has received the 2010 Industry Award given annually to one US firm by the FMA.

GenMet is featured in a cover story in the February 2010 issue of The FABRICATOR. The award will be presented to GenMet in a ceremony during the FMA's Leadership Summit, which begins March 3 at Disney's Boardwalk Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

GenMet operates a variety of leading edge equipment, including a dual Mitsubishi laser FMS line with 66,000 lbs. of unmanned cutting capacity, an Ncell programming network, and two Virtek LaserQC inspection systems. The most recent Virtek can inspect both flat and formed parts. Congratulations GenMet!
